January 2018 Volunteer Opportunities
We are looking for a few good Office Volunteers in the New Year! Volunteers must be comfortable answering the phone and taking messages. We also have office-type projects that we may need help with in the office. Ideally we would like to have about 10 people so we can sign everyone up for one day every other week. Times are not set in stone. We usually work 11-1, but as long as there is a 30 minute time frame for Mrs. Sanchez to get lunch that would be great! Please let us know if you would be interested in meeting to discuss these volunteering opportunities. Contact Leah Justice at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ongoing Monthly Volunteers needed for the Library and the Workroom – Please contact Leah Justice at email@example.com if you are interested in finding out more! Work when you can…opportunities for working at home, weekly or monthly volunteer sign ups.
"Heroes of the Hallways" ...our school-based father-involvement initiative that organizes fathers and father figures as positive male role models for the students and to enhance school security.
Please visit our Watch D.O.G.S. page for additional information on how to volunteer.
Attention 2017-2018 volunteers!
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer in Plano schools, please complete the district's online Volunteer Application on but not before July 1 of each school year. We look forward to seeing you at our school!
